Devoted fans of the actress are calling for that a individual who jumped a barrier and touched the celebrity during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or removed from Singapore.

A circulating video reveals the Australian man shoving aside camera operators and lunging at Grande while the performers made its way down a event pathway flanked by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the surprised performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the gathering by security officers.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "free after being detained", though court documents indicated that he was due to be present on the following morning. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

Record of Incidents

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has disrupted a performance. His Instagram feed features videos of him interrupting other star-studded functions, including jumping on stage at the artist's Sydney performance in earlier this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers event in the area last December.

"Steps should be implemented applied against him as this is obviously a legal violation," stated an Instagram user, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user wrote.

Followers Express Concern Over Ariana's Past Trauma

Many supporters accused Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the end of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" said a further response on Instagram.

Some fans also questioned guards at the Thursday event for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals called for digital services to remove Mr Wen's videos.

Aftermath and Event Details

In clips shared widely, Grande seemed startled when she was approached by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted comforting her while Mr Wen was removed by guards.

Grande has not issued a statement on the event, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.

Hundreds of fans had assembled in a crowd of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific launch in a Singapore mall, including a number who had stood in line for as long as eight hours before it began.

The film, to be released on 21 November, is the follow-up of a two-part interpretation of the popular theatrical show Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely relationship between two contrasting characters.

The production itself is a spin-off of the classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was dressed in a champagne pink glittering gown at the gathering while Erivo, who acts as the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress decorated with roses.

They were alongside fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the top-earning film of the previous year in the UK, and earned 10 Oscar nominations, winning two for outstanding attire and set decoration.
