A ex-military leader of the Britain's aerial defense command will deliver recommendations next month on how the publicly-supported center can optimally help the scope of official artificial intelligence goals in defense, homeland protection and information gathering.

The institute's chair, a previous Amazon UK leader, confirmed that multiple research initiatives at the 440-staff institute have been closed, transferred out or completed because they fail to match with the revised strategy.
